A stone deposit is the place a mason gets its stone from. When a stone deposit has been depleted it can simple be refilled by letting your geologist search for another.
Just like any other deposit in the game it is possible to add extra stone to it. An example of this is the steel chisel that can be bought from the merchant. However this is not possible when the deposit has already been depleted.
There are currently 9 possible locations for a stone deposit. In sector one there are always 5 locations and in sector five there are 4 locations of which only 3 can be found at the same a time.
Using the sience system a player can reduce the amount of time it takes to search for a new stone deposit by up to 30%. In a similar way the player can also increase the amount of stone per deposit by up to 24%.
