Description

Buffs are any item which can be applied to an aspect of the game, which adjusts that part of the game for the benefit of the player. The term is most commonly applied to an item which may be applied to a workyard building to increase the production rate of that building, known as Production Buffs or Workyard Buffs.

Buffs also refers to items which will boost the player's stock levels, either directly, by adding resources to the Storehouse, or indirectly, by adding to a Deposit.

Workyard Buffs

Workyard Buffs are applied to any production building to increase the output of that building. The resources used by the building are unchanged, meaning that a buff will not mess up your carefully tweaked economy.

Barracks Buffs

Barracks Buffs are used only on the Barracks, to reduce the time taken to train troops.

Mayor's House Buffs

The Mayor's House produces 1 Settler every 15 minutes, until the population limit is reached. This can be considered slow when you are trying to build up your army, so Mayor's House buffs can be used to increase this production rate.

Deposit Buffs

Deposit buffs are applied to a deposit on your Home Island, to increase the resources that can be harvested or mined from that deposit.
